Short Description of the Business:

Highsoft Solutions AS delivers licensed software and is the company behind Highstock JS and Highcharts JS and Highslide JS.

Highcharts has rapidly become one of the industry leaders in standards compatible JavaScript based charting.The company is a limited company succeeding the former Highslide Software, founder Torstein Hønsi's sole proprietorship.

The business have been profitable since the start in 2006. Since Highcharts was released late 2009, growth really escalated. During 2011 Highsoft Solutions grew from one developer to 5 employees, of which 3 are developers and 2 are in Sales and administration. Our offices are located in Vik i Sogn, Norway.

Prices

All prices are given in USD and are shown excluding VAT. For Customers located in Norway 25% VAT is added to the price. The total cost of acquisition will appear prior to payment and include all expenses associated with purchase.

3. Terms of Purchase

The dispatch of orders 

Your selected product/s will be placed in your shopping cart. To purchase these products you will be directed to the checkout page. At the checkout page you are required to fill in your billing information and choose your payment method. You will be asked to select a password that you will need to log on to your account. Username is your email-address. This account enables you to track status of your order/s.

After purchase you will receive a confirmation-email, with license statement and license terms and conditions attached. An invoice is issued to the same email address, shortly after the first email. The concrete components of Highsoft Solution AS´ products are the license statement, the license terms and conditions and the invoice.

The code is open, and freely available from www.highcharts.com/download.  

Shipping/Freight

There is no physical distribution of any products. The software itself is open and freely available for download from www.highcharts.com/download.

Payment

From the date of payment, you possess legally rights to use Highsoft Solutions Softwares.The following payment methods are accepted:

PayPal, Visa, Master Card. Wire and check will also be accepted.

Personal data

Highsoft Solutions processes personal data according to the Norwegian Law on Personal Data. Information linked to you as a person will not be connected with remote registry or be made available to other businesses.

Credit Card Information

When you complete a purchase at Highsoft.com the payment is processed by Nets, which is a secure electronic payment solutions for Visa and MasterCard and American Express. Card information is processed according to the card companies' rules.

Procedures for cancellation

In case of cancellation please send an email to sales@highsoft.com marked “CANCELLATION”.

Additional information: 

Customer name, address and Highsoft account number, type of license, purchase date and payment method.

Complaints

If there is a shortage in the download method provided, you must within a reasonable time, give Highsoft Solution a written statement, by email, where you claim the lack.Highsoft Solutions will then advice the procedures based on rules on claims, found in the Norwegian consumer law.

Right of cancellation (For norwegian consumers)

In accordance to the Norwegians consumer law, the right of cancellation applies from the purchase date and 14 days ahead. Find detailed information on the withdrawal form. here.

If the buyer has not received a cancellation form by email, extended cooling-off period is 3 months. The cancellation form is issued complete with Highsoft Solutions information. Cancellation rights apply to consumers; sales to corporations are not inclusive in the Norwegian Consumer Law.

Guarantee

The first 90 days following the download is considered the Warranty Period.

Licensor warrants that the Software will perform substantially in accordance with the Licensor’s specifications given it has been used with appropriate computer equipment. In the event of breach or alleged breach of this warranty, Licensee shall promptly notify Licensor and return the Software to Licensor at Licensee’s own expense. Licensee’s sole remedy in such an event shall be that Licensor shall correct the Software so that it operates according to the warranty. This warranty shall not apply to Software that has been modified or used improperly or on an functioning environment that is not approved by Licensor.

Licensee’s exclusive remedy for any breach of the limited warranty is as set forth above.

Licensee is not entitled to any alignment of damages, including but not limited to consequential damages, if the Software does not meet the limited warranty.

Norwegian consumers are regulated by the Consumer Act,  Cancellation Act, Marketing Act, the Personal Data Act, E-Commerce Act and Credit Act
